The lesson investigates why many of our daily activities make us feel stressed, how this affects our bodies and how healthy relaxation methods can help us feel restored and refreshed. Created for the new PSHE DfE / PSHE Association guidelines.
The pack includes a 1 hour long PowerPoint, information pack, differentiated challenge activities, worksheets, clips and literacy focus tasks. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. An assembly all about whether or not we live in a truly equal country. The assembly reflects on women’s and LGBT+ rights, racism, black lives matter, and finally focuses on income inequality - and how and why this is rising. The message of the assembly is that although the UK has improved so much in the last fifty years, we cannot take it for granted that we live in a country of equal opportunities, which is why we need to develop our skills of resilience, perseverance and determination to succeed more than ever.
It lasts around 20 mins (inc clips). The assembly includes animations, statistics, dialogue between characters and a little humour. It is very easy to just pick up ad deliver after a quick glance at the slides.

This is the fifth of 12 sessions which will cover all aspects of employability skills, as well as serve as a step-by-step guide for schools and students that are signed up to the LikeToBe website.
This fifth session is all about technological / computer literacy - exploring why it’s important for us to keep our skills up to date and be life-long learners. It investigates how technology has impacted on our social and work lives over the past few decades and why almost every job today will want students to be proficient in using the most common software packages.
All of these resources are three way differentiated, engaging and challenging. They are best suited to KS4 or KS5 students and each lasts 40 minutes.
